Wichita among nation’s most affordable cities for startups
WICHITA, Kan. — According to a new report from personal finance website Smart Asset, Wichita is one of America’s top 10 cities with the lowest startup costs. The Air Capital ranked third in the rankings and was the only city west of the Mississippi to make the list.
Wichita ranked high thanks to its affordable office space which, at an average of $14.55 per square foot, is one of the lowest in the nation. Overall, Wichita trailed only Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Columbia, South Carolina, in the rankings of the 81 largest cities in the country.
