Pollina says Kansas is one of the nation’s most business-friendly states
KANSAS – According to a new report by corporate site selection company Pollina Corporate Real Estate, Kansas is one of the most business-friendly states in America. The Sunflower State ranked fifth in the report, the same position it held in 2014.
The Pollina study, which is co-published with the American Economic Development Institute, examines 32 factors that are controlled by state government, including taxes, human resources, education, right-to-work legislation, energy costs, infrastructure spending, regulatory environment, workers compensation laws and state economic development efforts.
Overall, Utah took the top spot followed by Nebraska, Indiana and Virginia. To see the entire Pollina report, go here.
